Stars of the Czech Music Scene, Including a Speciality, and the Winners of Urquell of Talents Will Perform at this Year's Pilsner Fest.

This year’s Pilsner Fest, a one day celebration of the brewing of the first batch of Pilsner Urquell lager, will take place exactly on the date of its birth - on 5th October. One day full of festival attractions awaits visitors of the Pilsner Urquell brewery. Two stages will present the best from the current Czech music scene.
„This year's Pilsner Fest will be traditional and unexpectedly new. On one hand we have the proven attractions of festival stages, and on the other hand visitors may expect a unique fusion of the Čechomor band with a symphonic orchestra and a new MC duo Nasty a En.dru, whom you can never tell if they will join the other bands and jam along. Their beat-box skills and musical sensitivity are truly unique. On top of that, we were able to secure an international star that will close the festival - FIRKIN band, whose lively and energetic music set is highly anticipated by all of us,“ Pilsner Fest musical director Pavel Anděl said about the festival.
The colourful accompanying programme will combine the historical traditions of the brewing craft with modern trends and the success of Pilsner Urquell lager abroad.
During the Pilsner Fest as any other day you can also take part in the Pilsner Urquell brewery tour route. The Pilsner Urquell brewery is a unique industrial heritage site which belongs to the European Route of Industrial Heritage. The brewery tour showcases all of the authentic places where Pilsner Urquell lager has been brewed for more than 170 years. You will get to see both the historical as well modern production facilities of the brewery. Part of the tour is a visit to a section of the 9-kilometer-long labyrinth of brewery cellars, where you will have the chance to taste unfiltered Pilsner Urquell drawn straight from oak lager casks.
