Irena Liškařová new President of the Chamber of Auditors

On 24 November 2014, Irena Liškařová was elected president of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic. She has been a member of the Chamber of Auditors of the CR since 1993 when she qualified as a statutory auditor. Until now she worked there in the Financial Reporting Committee where she was actively involved in the developing of Czech accounting legislation.
Irena Liškařová is an Executive Director within Assurance practice of EY Czech Republic and focuses on large manufacturing and service industry clients. She specializes on statutory and international audits of a number of Czech and international organizations. She has extensive experience with statutory audits and auditing of international clients in accordance with international accounting standards, accounting advisory and due diligence of a number of major companies, especially manufacturing companies and service industry sector.
In addition, her team regularly prepares pro bono audit of the Our Child Foundation. She graduated in accounting and auditing at the Prague University of Economics. She is a member of the National Accounting Board. She has a teenage daughter. Irena likes travelling, skiing, jogging and cycling.
