Pavel Kulhavý, a Director in the Assurance Services department in PwC CZ, has been elected a vice president of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic (CACR). Pavel had already been active in CACR managing bodies between 2007 and 2012 as an Executive Committee member.
“The audit profession is facing a number of challenges and regulatory changes. I am pleased that I can contribute to the credibility of financial statements verified by Czech auditors and that the users of these documents can rely on them, regardless of changing market conditions and regulation” ,said Pavel Kulhavý.
Pavel Kulhavý (47) has been with PwC Audit since 1991. Pavel has gained extensive experience providing audit and business advisory services to multinational and Czech companies operating primarily in the consumer goods, retail, industrial products and automotive industries. Pavel also spent six months on secondment in the PwC International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) specialised department in London, where he provided expert advice to multinational clients on IFRS accounting issues. Pavel is a Fellow Member of the international Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has been a registered statutory auditor of the Czech Chamber of Auditors. Pavel was also a member of the Listing Committee of the Prague Stock Exchange between 2008 and 2011.
