Bird & Bird wins multiple awards at MPF Awards for Management Excellence 2015

13.03.2015
Company: Amcham

Bird & Bird is pleased to announce that they took top awards for management excellence at the 13th Annual MPF Awards for Management Excellence held on 11 March in London. Bird & Bird took the main prize for the Most Innovative Use of Social Media and for the Best Use of Systems and Technology and was also a runner up in Best Provision of Know How and Best Financial Management categories.

The Awards are an integral part of the MPF International Management Excellence Summit in association with Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times. Categories cover leadership, operational excellence, clients, people and collaboration. The awards recognise the best practice across professional services firms and highlight processes and systems which support businesses in delivering excellent solutions to clients.

Bird & Bird came first in Most Innovative Use of Social Media category. The judges said: "This entry stood out as the clear winner. Not only did Bird & Bird demonstrate how to scale a project up over time, apply brand values and use content effectively (in particular video and web integration) but there was also a clear understanding of using social media for press and client relationship development. Most impressive, however, was the project team’s commitment to mapping the project against strategic goals and objectives."

Bird & Bird also took the first prize in Best Use of Systems and Technology category for its firm-wide matter planning and profitability initiative. The judges explained: "Bird & Bird's system allows the firm to respond to client demands for more flexible pricing and greater financial transparency whilst ensuring sustained profitability."
