Southpaw invites AmCham members to support young scientists at VĚDECKÝ JARMARK 2015

Day-long science fair event highlights the value and fun of science education.
Southpaw Productions will cooperate again this year with VĚDA NÁS BAVÍ o.p.s., ČVUT, VŠCHT and the Czech Academy of Sciences in putting together the 3rd annual VĚDECKÝ JARMARK “science fair” event on 9 September on Vítězné náměstí (often referred to as “Kulaťák”).
Last year’s event saw over 13,000 children and their parents come visit the day-long program that featured scientific experiments and technology demonstrations run by a wide group of partners including ŠKODA AUTO, Avast, ČEZ, Nestlé, Danone, České radiokomunikace and Schneider Electric.
Last year’s fair also generated media coverage in Czech TV, Czech Radio 2 and top daily newspapers, Mladá fronta DNES and Lidové noviny, and on the Czech Republic’s widest-read news server, Novinky.cz.
ŠKODA AUTO and Avast have already made provisional commitments to support this year’s event and we look forward to working with other businesses that support exposure to scientific education for younger generations of Czechs.
