RWE to extend cooperation with Macquarie

Allen & Overy announced that it is advising CGN Holdings, as part of a consortium of funds managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, on its acquisition of a further 15% interest in RWE Grid Holding, the largest natural gas distribution network in the Czech Republic, bringing its total stake in the business to 49.96%.
This transaction is a continuation of our cooperation with Macquarie, which began in 2012 when we first assisted with the acquisition of 35% stake in RWE Grid Holding.
Czech Republic-based corporate partner Jane Townsend led the Allen & Overy team, assisted by senior associate Jan Skuhravý.
