We are honoured and pleased to welcome the award winning Boston Children’s Chorus with their artistic Director and conductor Anthony Trecek-King.
Seventy-eight singers and eleven adults will travel to the Czech Republic and Germany from June 25 to July 5, 2015, for an educational cultural diplomacy tour in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Europe from Nazi occupation. On tour, the singers will engage in a variety of performances, excursions to historical locations, and exchanges with local youth.
The Boston Children’s Chorus has partnered with Mark Ludwig, a Holocaust scholar and Executive Director of Terezin Music Foundation that has also commissioned four works for the Chorus to perform on the trip. And you will be able to hear those works at the Lobkowicz Palace on 1 July 2015. Our concert guests will have a unique opportunity to hear the Boston Children’s Chorus perform exciting repertoire in our Imperial Hall from 13:00.
Please join us for this truly unique event, limited number of concert tickets can be purchased in our e-shop.
We wish all the performers the best experience from the trip to Europe!
