Ambruz & Dark Deloitte Legal Has Appointed Two New Partners

The law office Ambruz & Dark Deloitte Legal will have two new Partners starting in September. Lukáš Poddaný (38), who has been promoted to Associate Partner, principally specialises in business corporations law, contractual law and cross-border investments in the Czech Republic. Aleš Kubáč (37) will be appointed an Associate Partner in charge of mergers and acquisitions, retail and the energy industry.
Lukáš Poddaný has been with Ambruz & Dark Deloitte Legal since 2003. He principally specialises in business corporations law, contractual law and cross-border investments made in the Czech Republic. As a member of the German Desk of Deloitte, he provides legal services to German speaking clients.
Mr Poddany’s clients include, among others, manufacturing companies primarily engaged in the automotive business and retail companies. At Ambruz & Dark Deloitte Legal, he is also in charge of developing the office in Pilsen.
Aleš Kubáč has been with the law firm since 2002. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, retail and the energy industry. He has been in charge of a great number of merger and acquisition projects. In the retail sector, he provides legal advice to significant retail chains in various fields of interest, ranging from takeovers and leases of retail premises over product labelling and organising consumer contests, up to the legal arrangement of relations between retailers and suppliers.
In the energy industry, he assists in setting up the contractual relations between the market participants, secures energy licences and advises multinational corporations launching business in the Czech Republic. He also assists in implementing photovoltaic projects.
