Jones Lang LaSalle brings new tenants to Argo- 50% of the project leased

Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to announce that up to 50% of the office development Argo Alpha has been leased. The project offers a total of 11,000 sq m and its landlord is Linzia Shelf, s.r.o. Jones Lang LaSalle is acting as exclusive leasing agent on the project.
Harry Bannatyne, Consultant at Jones Lang LaSalle explains: “Jones Lang LaSalle took over the leasing of Argo about 6 months ago. When we embarked on the project not a single lease was signed for the office development. Within half a year we managed to lease virtually 50% of the available office space, which goes to show that even in challenging times major transactions are being closed and that Prague is still a hot destination city for top international companies. New tenants signed at Argo Alpha include one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, the business and industrial imaging products manufacturer Konica Minolta and the world leader in battery technology Energizer, who is in final stages of negotiations. Together the companies signed for a total of 5,500 sq m, the most recent deal being one of the biggest transactions in the Prague market this year. We are currently negotiating with potential tenants regarding the remaining office space available and expect additional transactions to be closed in the near future.”
Argo is a modern two-phase office development, bringing over 22,000 sq m of modern office facilities to the existing Vokovice business district. The development is located in Prague 6, to the northwest of the city center, in a highly visible location along the "airport corridor" of Evropská street. Both tram and bus stops are located within walking distance.
