CTP unveils first CTPark in Lviv, Ukraine

16.09.2015
Company: CTP Invest, spol. s r.o.

Dutch-based developer, CTP, continues its international expansion, adding CTPark Lviv to the CTPark Network. CTP and the city of Lviv, located in the western region of Ukraine just 60 km from the Polish border, have agreed to cooperate on the development of CTPark Lviv in the city’s Ryasne industrial zone. By doing so, the city and CTP will attract international investors to this increasingly key location.

CTPark Lviv is located on a 23 hectare plot of land in the north-west part of the city, close to the M10 road with good connections to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and other regions. In addition to management of the existing zone, CTP will construct an additional 100,000 m² of A-class industrial space, which will create about 3,000 new jobs for the region.

Remon Vos, CTP CEO. “Lviv is strategically located in the west of Ukraine, just a few kilometres from the Polish and Slovak borders. The city has an educated, affordable and available workforce, recently bolstered by an influx of workers from Eastern Ukraine. The local Government very much supports this new project, and we will be offering custom-built solutions especially for existing CTP clients looking to take advantage of this attractive opportunity.”

Lviv is an important political, economic, cultural and scientific hub in Western Ukraine. The city is conveniently located in the geographical centre of Europe, 60 km to the Polish border, straddling two pan-European transport corridors (III and V). There are more than 53 academies, universities and colleges in the city, home to 130,000 students at any one time, 86% of whom speak English.

CTP will actively promote the new park among our current clients, many of whom have expressed interest in Ukraine as a potential expansion destination,” said Hendrik Jung, CTP Senior Business Developer. “Lviv has excellent potential, and it has already attracted many large international investors like Metro, REWE, Cargo Partner and Auchan.”

Potential clients of the park are expected to be from various industries, such as high-tech production, logistics, automotive, engineering. These companies will benefit from close connection to CE countries, experienced and educated staff and low-cost environment in Ukraine.
