As of October, Blanka Vačkova has become the new Head of Research at JLL in the Czech Republic. She is taking over responsibilities from Ondřej Novotný who is leaving to work for a client of JLL, after more than 7 years with the firm.
Blanka has over 15 years of experience on the Czech and Slovak real estate markets and ranks among the most experienced researchers on the market. During her career at JLL she has participated in numerous consulting projects, carrying out market and feasibility studies and valuations on behalf of JLL’s local and international clients.
Blanka joined JLL in 1997 and became responsible for research and consultancy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. From 1999 to 2003, in addition to her research responsibilities, she was part of the JLL Valuation team and worked on valuation assignments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia covering both single asset and portfolio assignments. Since 2009, as a Senior Analyst, she focused mainly on industrial and logistics research. Recently her scope of work enlarged to include the retail and residential sectors as well. Major clients for whom Blanka has worked include AEW, Prologis, Raiffeisen Leasing, Heitman, Immorent, TK Development, AIG/Lincoln and Skanska, among others.
Blanka holds a Master’s degree in English and Russian from Charles University in Prague. She is a founding member of the Prague Research Forum and an active member of the Industrial Research Forum. In 2014, Blanka became a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC). Blanka´s hobbies include travelling, film and opera.
