TOP HOTELS Group, a.s. gained new Marketing Manager by the end of October - Petra Dusilová. She takes care of the communication and publicity of one of the biggest congress center in Europe. As of the first days at the office she enjoys hectic but extremely interesting times of the hotel.
One of the top seasonal events for TOP HOTEL Prague was ensuring of catering for the reception ceremony that was held at the Prague castle by October 28, 2015, on the occasion of the State decorations handover on the anniversary of the independent Czechoslovak state foundation.
After the speech of Mr. President more than 3000 people in three halls of the Prague Castle savored in specialties of the Czech cuisine. Beautifully arranged buffet tables offered both excellent cold appetizers, such as “Venison garnished with fresh currants a forest fruit sauce” or “Roast suckling pig decorated with marinated vegetables”, as well as a plenty of aromas of warm dishes and, of course, irresistible desserts too.
The head chef of the TOP Hotel Prague, Mr. Petr Vodolán, who was along with 30 chefs preparing delicacies for the Prague Castle for the whole day, was proud of his team: "I think that really every meal was excellent. If I should choose some extremely delicious, then I have to mention fish: “Salmon in orange marinade and fresh herbs”, “Stuffed sturgeon with fish terrine and lime” and, in particular, “Baked whole salmon with basil pesto cut right in front of the guests”."
The great satisfaction was heard everywhere around. Often acclaimed were for example “Medallions of beef sirloin with pepper sauce” or “Veal ragout with mushrooms”. From sweets delicious chocolate desserts or fruit mini tarts. Big admiration also gained national characters that chefs masterfully carved into the ice.
"Many guests told me that the food was just excellent. For example, Mr. Jan Wiesner, President of the KZPS, or Senator Ing. Zdeněk Škromach, personally expressed me their appreciation for the catering", mentioned laterly Ing. Vladimir Dohnal, Chairman of TOP HOTELS GROUP, a.s., who personally participated at the National day celebration.
After its successful presentation at the Prague Castle TOP Hotel Prague succeeded also abroad, when they provided catering for Czech Embassy in Vienna.
More than 600 guests enjoyed the celebration of the Independent Czechoslovak State foundation day following at the Czech Embassy in Vienna. His personal thanks for the excellent cuisine expressed even Mr. Ambassador, Ing. Jan Zechter himself.
Not surprisingly, when it attracted with such delicacies, such as “Duck breast marinated in white rum” or “Beef tongue marinated in a spicy sauce”.
"It was challenging, but I have never received so many personal gratitudes for the quality of meal," says Ing. Pavla Melanová, Deputy of Food & Beverages Manager of TOP Hotel Prague, who supervised the smooth course of the evening. "One of our pastry-cook was, thanks to her art, even proposed!“
TOP Hotel Prague continued in a presentation at the international field at the World Travel Market in London. In the context of the world's largest tourism trade fair held a traditional dinner at The Blue Elephant. With the Director of the Czech Tourism Agency, Ing. Monika Palatková, Ph.d., Director of the foreign Department of the Czech representation of Tourism of Ing. Jan Herget or Head of commercial-economic section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London, Pavel Bobek discussed about the other possibilities of Prague and the Czech Republic promotion abroad. The great potential they see in Southern and Eastern Asian clientele.
