Martin Fiala has been appointed an Executive Director in EY´s Transaction Advisory Services. He will lead a newly established Strategy team in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
“Martin´s main role will be to identify Strategy service opportunities, with a focus on driving value for our clients from transaction and capital events. In terms of geographic coverage, he will initially focus on the Czech Republic and Slovakia and then extend to cover other countries in our Central Cluster region (Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia). I am confident that his unique knowledge and experience will help us build a successful Strategy practice in order to respond to client demands for more complex services,” says Peter Wells, Head of Transaction Advisory Services, EY in the Czech Republic.
The newly established EY Strategy team is a part of the Transaction Advisory services (TAS) division. EY has been strengthening its Strategy competency not only in Central Europe but worldwide to be able to provide its clients with a full range of consultancy services. The regional team is a part of the global initiative to deliver strategy competencies within the EY brand umbrella.
Martin Fiala has spent most of his professional career working as a management consultant and is an alumnus of Roland Berger. He worked on and later managed multiple strategy assignments in CEE including projects on growth strategies, operations efficiency or commercial due diligences. His primary industry focus is Energy. He studied economics, international relations and commercial law in Prague and Nottingham. Martin is based in Prague and is married with two daughters.
