Veeam Expands Global Footprint with New R&D Hub in Czech Republic

Prague Facility Adds to Veeam’s World-Class R&D Capabilities, Enabling Company to Be Closer to and Meet the Needs of a Growing Customer Portfolio

Veeam® Software, the innovative provider of solutions that deliver Availability for the Always-On Enterprise™, today announced that in order to meet the demands of more than 168,000 customers globally, it is scaling-out its operations with a new research and development (R&D) facility in Prague, Czech Republic.

Veeam’s new R&D facility in Prague is further evidence of the company’s growing penetration in the Availability market. In 2015, Veeam has added more than 30,000 new customers across the world and has continued to drive consistent growth across all markets; in its Q3 2015 earnings announcement Veeam reported:

• 17 percent growth in quarterly revenue bookings, or an increase of 26 percent in constant currency; in the Czech Republic specifically, sequential growth was 29 percent
• 86 percent year-over-year revenue growth specifically for Veeam Availability Suite Enterprise Plus edition.
• 49 percent revenue growth for all editions of Veeam Availability Suite; and
• 23 percent year-over-year growth in orders specifically from enterprise customers
• 168,000 customers in 200 countries: Veeam added 11,300 total paid customers in Q3 2015. Veeam’s availability solutions now protect close to 10 million virtual machines worldwide.
• Expansion to 34,500 ProPartners worldwide: Veeam’s commitment to the channel continues to attract new resellers and VARs to our solutions.
• Employee growth: Veeam now employs 1,950 people worldwide.
