DLA Piper is pleased to announce that the firm has earned a perfect score for the eighth consecutive year on the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The score distinguishes the firm as a "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality."
The 2016 CEI assessed 1,027 businesses on their policies and practices relating to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community.

As part of DLA Piper’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative, the US LGBT Resource Group serves as a forum and advisory body on matters important to the LGBT community and provides opportunities for engagement in a variety of projects. In addition to working to ensure LGBT inclusiveness throughout the year, the firm annually celebrates LGBT Pride Month in the US with hundreds of lawyers and staff participating in nationally video-conferenced workshops designed to raise awareness of LGBT-related issues for everyone.
