New Year’s Eve traffic in the T-Mobile network confirmed the trend consisting in a shift from “classic” phone calls and text messages to data. Overall traffic in the operator’s network decreased by 4% as compared with the same day of last year. The number of calls decreased by 5.2% to approximately 24.1 million. Nearly 17.2 million short text messages passed through the network, which is 2.2% more than last year.
