JLL transacts a record breaking 109,059 sqm of office space in 2015 and confirms its long-term leading market position

According to the Prague Research Forum, the office leasing teams (Tenant Representation and Office Agency) of JLL mediated a record breaking 109,059 sqm of office space transactions. This total consists of 61,740 sqm mediated by the Tenant representation team and 47,319 sqm mediated by the Landlord representation team. Both teams transacted the highest volumes and achieved the largest market shares amongst all real estate consultancy companies on the Czech market.
Petr Kareš, head of the tenant representation team at JLL, comments: “It remains a challenge for corporates to make sense of the constantly changing market conditions, therefore it is encouraging to see an increasing number of companies using professional services for their real estate transactions and strategies to achieve best results and to fully optimize their goals.”
In terms of the total volume of office leasing transactions, 2015 became a record breaking year, reaching level of ca. 450,000 sqm of gross take-up. Approximately 350,000 sqm were represented by real estate consultancy companies. JLL’s share reached 31%. Due to the recognition of the quality of its services and the trust of its clients, JLL was awarded “Best Office Real Estate Agency” at the 2015 CIJ Awards.
