Ford is opening first two FordStores in Czech Republic

FordStore: an all-new level of sales, top-quality services. First-ever FordStore in Czech Republic has just opened in Prague, another one will follow in Pardubice. Before the end of 2017, Ford will open 500 FordStores in Europe including six in Czech Republic.

With opening of the first FordStore in the country, Ford of Czech Republic starts a new era of sales and services for both cars and commercial vehicles. FordStores feature not only refined and relaxed showroom ambience but also a whole new level of services and the highest standards of repair and maintenance. 

Like a showcase for the Ford brand, the FordStore concept catches one’s attention with the new showroom design accompanied by unparalleled services. That’s why only pre-selected dealers can apply for the FordStore designation. First-ever FordStore in Czech Republic is Auto MOTOL BENI Company in Prague. AUTO In ltd. in Pardubice is due to follow shortly. Ford plans up to six FordStores in the country with five confirmed at the moment: two in Prague and another three in Pardubice, Brno and Ostrava. Each Czech FordStore will feature the same look, feel and equipment as the other 494 FordStores in Europe. 

What’s the difference? From the outside, customers will notice an all-new looks dominated by a huge Ford logo. Inside, they will find a completely reworked showroom area with light ambience, bold design and separated display areas for particular model groups (SUV, Focus ST, Mustang…).  Based on blue, white and orange, the new visual style creates relaxed, modern and dynamic atmosphere. There are dedicated areas where customers can speak to sales staff, learn about Ford and its products or just relax enjoying coffee or other refreshments. Directional signs provide guidance. 

Every FordStore features a large-area screen consisting of nine 55” displays where customers can configure and check their new car almost life-sized. A “Vignale lounge” offers a comfortable leather sofa and an interactive coffee table whose desk doubles as a large touchscreen connected to the Internet. Vignale customers will benefit from additional premium services arranged by a specially trained Vignale manager. 

At least 18 vehicles in total must be displayed on the showroom and the outdoor display area and there are mandatory requirements for minimum per-vehicle-area and distance between vehicles. For instance, the Vignale lounge must have at least 40 square meters while Ford Mustang or Ford Focus ST are to be displayed on a coloured, 20-m2 round base illuminated by design round panel with identical footprint, hanged from the ceiling. 

Customers can obtain information on Ford vehicles from tablets placed all over the showroom and connected to the Internet via fast wireless network. 

All FordStore partners offer complete Ford range from the Ka city car to the two-tonne Transit. The most desirable blue oval badged models like Ford Mustang, Ford Vignale or Ford Focus RS will be handed off exclusively in FordStores. Each FordStore will also offer certified pre-owned Ford Garant cars and will have a dedicated Transit centre for commercial vehicles.
