CMS has been named ‘Central and Eastern Europe Law Firm of the Year’ at the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence 2016. The award reflects CMS’ pre-eminence in the region, and the scale and complexity of its work.
The Chambers Europe awards and rankings are recognised as one of the most prestigious in Europe and mark the culmination of in-depth and independent research conducted by Chambers and Partners. The Chambers Europe Awards highlight notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client services.

CMS has been also recognised by Chambers Global as the leading law firm (Band 1) in two out of three categories – Corporate/M&A and Projects & Energy.
This year CMS came out on top in the Central Eastern Europe category of the Legal500 ranking. “The CEE coverage of CMS is unrivalled with offices in 13 cities in the region, including FYR countries” – reported Legal500. CMS has been recognised by Legal500 rankings as a top-tier firm in 30 practice areas and also received another 54 recommendations in other tiers. With 84 recommendations in Legal 500, CMS is the most highly recommended law firm in CEE.
