New Vodafone Smart Prime 7 is coming

The new Vodafone Smart Prime 7, a successor of the popular Vodafone Smart Prime 6, is coming to the Czech Republic. The new smartphone features the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and new design with a rounded 2.5D display. Though boasting poweful hardware and LTE support, it keeps the price low – the new model is available from today at CZK 3,277.

“The Smart 6 phones have been immensely popular with our customers. We wanted to go even further and improve the design as well as performance. The result is Smart Prime 7, which we consider to be one of the most elegant and most poweful smartphones in this price range,” says Jan Linhart, a Product Specialist at Vodafone.

The new Smart Prime 7 comes with a 5-inch IPS display and HD resolution of 293 PPI (pixels per inch). It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by the 1.3 GHz quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 paired with 1 GB RAM. It can easily deal with more advanced applications as well as multimedia content. A battery with a capacity of 2540 mAh ensures long operation without recharge.

Photos, documents as well as other user content can be stored to an 8 GB internal storage space, extandable through a microSD card to up to 128 GB. The main camera features 8 megapixels, LED flash, autofocus and OmniVision sensor to edit photos and videos. The camera can be activated even when the phone is in stand-by mode – you only need to douple tap the volume control button. Selfies can be made with a 5 Mpx front camera. Smart Prime 7 supports LTE and has NFC module as well as Bluetooth 4.0.

Vodafone Smart Prime 7 is now available at Vodafone in a black-and-silver edition at a standard price of CZK 3,277 without commitment.

Vodafone Smart 6 devices in 2015

Vodafone Smart Prime 7 follows up the successful year of 2015 when the Smart product line, including Prime 6, Ultra 6, Speed 6 and First 6, accounted for 48 per cent of Vodafone sales in the category of smartphones up to CZK 6,500. The success of Vodafone Smart devices was also confirmed by the sales statistics conducted by GFK: Vodafone Smart Prime 6 stayed among the TOP 20 best-selling phones for 6 months after it was launched in the Czech Republic.
