The Edu brief presented the new EU General Data Protection Regulation for Czech business community. We identified twenty questions most frequently asked by our clients in respect of the new regulation and structured our presentation on this basis. The main take-away is that, although the new regulation respects the existing principles regulating the protection of personal data, the new rules are stricter, much more detailed and introduce astronomical fines for non-compliance.
