Amendment to the Prices Act

12.11.2009
Company: Amcham

Amendment to the Prices Act will affect strong market players

The amendment to the Prices Act broadens the list of sanctionable offences, increases sanctions and extends the period during which the breach of price regulations is sanctionable by two years. Evidence regarding the breach of these regulations can be newly procured without the awareness of vendors and before a price control. The amendment has been signed by the president and most probably it will become effective within the next weeks.
