The Grand Opening of the first sky bar in Prague took place on September 9th, with the lavish party at Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge on the rooftop of the Hilton Prague.
250 guests were invited, in keeping with Cloud 9’s policy of ensuring the bar is airy and comfortable even at full capacity. All the guests enjoyed the opportunity of taking in the incredible views of Prague by night – and trying the original cocktails and delicious food which have gained the bar a high reputation since its soft opening in August.
During the official opening of Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge, Wolfgang M. Neumann, Area President Europe, Hilton Hotels Corporation, referred in his speech to its unique location and overall design. Meanwhile, the owner of the Hilton Prague, Sean Quinn, Quinn Group, thanked all of those who played a part in the building and opening of Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge. Michael Specking, General Manager of the Hilton Prague, highlighted its instant success, and the fact that in just one month it had attracted many regular guests and became a natural location for both important business meetings and unwinding after a hard day’s work.
The brief speeches were followed by a long night’s fun. The most popular drinks were the Cloud 9 signature cocktails, created specially for the bar by the top Czech master bartender Roman Uhlíř, who personally served behind the bar on what was an unforgettable evening. Perfect music by resident DJ was complemented by an unbelievable light show which demonstrated just what the Cloud 9 unique lighting system can do.
Among the VIPs at the Grand Opening Party were representatives of the Prague city authorities, leading entrepreneurs and executives, and a number of Czech celebrities, including Renata Langmannová, Anna Lipoldová, Lenka Taussigová, Jana Doležalová, Zuzana Belohorcová Gábina Partyšová, Jitka Asterová, Jana Horáčková, Yvetta Blanarovičová, Samer Issa, Michal David, Jiří Krampol, Radek John and others.
Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge is both a meeting place for the important and the famous and a synonym for great fun. Those who like to party can get down to the music of famous DJs, business people appreciate its quiet lounge and absolute privacy, and all who come to relax on the ninth floor of Hilton Prague are extremely impressed by the warm atmosphere, unique views, complete comfort and an exceptional range of food and drinks.
The first reviews and comments on the new bar have been very positive indeed. It has won the hearts of its clientele, and already established itself as the pinnacle of Prague’s bar scene.
