Dana Schweigelová named member of the CNB Appeal Committee

JUDr. Dana Schweigelová Ph.D., partner of the law firm Glatzova & Co. was named a member of the CNB Appeal Committee by the Bank Board today.
Starting January 1, 2010 JUDr. Dana Schweigelová Ph.D., partner of the law office Glatzova & Co., will be a member of the CNB Appeal Committee by the Bank Board.
The commission is an advisory organ of the Bank Board that deals with preparing draft decisions of the CNB Bank Board issued during administrative procedures. The Chairman of the Commission, presidents of chambers and other members of the commission are appointed by the Bank Board and are comprised of experts on legal theory as well as on business, financial, administrative and European Law, and related legal, economic and other branches. Members of the committee are appointed by the Bank Board for one year. The commission acts as a collegial body and the Bank Board is not bound by their decision. Dana Schweigelová has been with Glatzova & Co. since its foundation in 1994. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague where she also received her doctorate. She gained her international experience during her secondments in the law offices of Hengeler Mueller in Frankfurt am Main and Slaughter and May in London.
