Tomáš Matějovský (34) has joined the Prague office of CMS Cameron McKenna as a Senior Associate of Commercial team.
Tomáš Matějovský has extensive experience in advising corporate clients in commercial law, specially he focuses on competition, litigation and also M&A and real estate. He represented clients in various litigations / proceedings at all levels, such as commercial, unfair competition and damage claim disputes (regional courts, Superior Courts, Supreme Court, Constitutional Court), administrative proceedings and disputes (administrative courts, Supreme Administrative Court) and various other issues before Constitutional Court and/or European Court of Human Rights.
Tomáš has among other advised a major food producer on various corporate structural changes including three mergers of five companies and related competition proceedings, on various corporate and real estate transactions, squeeze out and EU restructuring process. He also advised a major steal producer on various acquisitions, related financing and competition proceedings.
His main task in CMS Cameron McKenna will be to strenghten the Commercial team, to lead Prague’s litigation practice group and to offer other general commercial law related advice.
Tomáš Matějovský is a Czech lawyer who graduated from Charles University Law School, and studied at Ecole National d’Administration and Universite de Perpignan. He speaks fluently English and French. He is married and has one child.
