On November the international lawyer's agency balances the first year of theirs existence. As the successor of company Linklaters who was the global leader in the market of law services, one year ago Kinstellar took over the offices in Bratislava, Bucharest, Budapest and Prague.
In spite of the today's economic recession, in the last year the company managed successfully the change of brand, and even under new name they held the current clients. "In the fields of restruc-turing of the credits and societies or insolvency, we were accommodated to the actual market situa-tion. At the same time, we continued in our expansion into both Southern and South-eastern Europe, we established one new office in Serbia, and we are also aiming on the Turkish market" said Mr Lukáš Ševčík, who is the managing partner of the Kinstellar's Prague office.
According Mr Ševčík the expansion eastwards does not present any tearing of existing linkages in Europe. On the contrary – Kinstellar becomes the premium address in the region for global lawyer's agencies, providing the superior consultancy in the countries lands in which these agencies doesn’t directly operate. The emphasis on quality is – among others – evidenced by the enlargement of team by experienced senior lawyers. One of most prominent of them is e.g. Of Counsel David Cantor, an elite specialist for European telecommunication, or the partner Charles Dunn who possesses the long-term international experience in both banking and financial sector.
Next year in January, Kinstellar will open new representative office in London, for which they got the best possible pillar – the office will be led by Mr Nick Eastwell, who is signalized by the inde-pendent sources as one of a few star lawyers of the British financial markets. The successful finishing of the first year with the new brand name may be also documented by the classification of the company in the independent juridical charts – in the all-European classification presented by the British periodical "The Lawyer", the office Kinstellar was classified in the short-list of five most considerable lawyers companies in the Central Europe.
"Our main objective for 2010 is to strengthen our position on current markets using the aspects being brought by the economical crisis, as well as the aimed expansion into the regions of both Southern and South-eastern Europe," concluded Lukáš Ševčík.
