PricewaterhouseCoopers appoints three new directors to the Assurance department

Lenka Hejduková, Antonín Hamřík, and Blanka Dubroková have been nominated as Directors in the Assurance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Lenka Hejduková has been appointed the director responsible for providing services in the automotive, industrial product, and service industries for local and multinational clients. These services include assurance services and audits according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Czech GAAP, and group consolidations.

“In my new role, I will be mainly dedicated to two key areas: ensuring that my clients will receive high value services as expected from an independent auditor and business advisor close to their businesses and issue and further developing the assurance business and client base."

Lenka has extensive experience with audits and assurance services. She has been involved in several project management projects, controlling assurance from both the Czech Republic and abroad (Germany and Great Britain). She has been responsible for developing the automotive group in the Czech Republic and is currently responsible for business development in the Assurance department.

Lenka studied accounting and finance management at the Prague University of Economics. She is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a qualified Czech statutory auditor, and a member of the Czech Chamber of Auditors.

Antonín Hamřík will lead the System and Process Assurance (SPA) group that is responsible for information system audits, process audits, and data assurance services, which include, but are not limited to, services such as audit of Shared Service Centres, SAS 70, Internal Control Optimization, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, SAP and other ERP reviews, system implementation assurance, system compliance with Czech legislation, and data quality assurance.

“The recent information system revolution and the turbulent and rapid development of the global economy completely changed the importance of processes and controls from within. I will focus on providing sufficient assurance to management over the complex environment in their companies worldwide", stated Antonín Hamřík.

Antonín has extensive experience with large projects in the process and control areas. He has also gained international experience from his assignment to PwC Boston, where he spent more that two years.

Antonín studied Mathematical Informatics at Palacký University in Olomouc. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom and a Certified Information System Auditor in the USA.

Blanka Dubroková will be responsible for providing audit and other assurance services to local and multinational clients operating in the Czech Republic. She has extensive experience mainly in the area of telecommunications, technology, and utilities. Since Blanka has also been specializing in International Standards on Auditing and related audit methodology, she will also pursue a regional role in this area for PwC in Central and Eastern Europe.

In the period 2005-2007, Blanka worked for PwC in New York City, USA. Blanka graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Ostrava. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Czech Chamber of Auditors.
