Jiří Moser, Advisor at the head of PricewaterhouseCoopers Czech Republic

Jiří Moser (43) is the first Czech native to head PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Czech Republic. His appointment as a managing partner confirms PwC’s long-term aim to provide the highest quality services not only for international corporations but also for the local Czech companies. From 2006 to the present time, Jiří has executed the duties of Leading Partner of Advisory Services; he will keep this position in the future as well.
Jiří took over from Stephen B. Booth who is retiring after three decades with PwC.
“I would like to build on the success Steve has achieved over the last three years at the head of the Czech PwC. My aim is to make use of the biggest global advisory network in the world, of our experts’ competences and knowledge and of our balanced service portfolio to be number one on the Czech market,” said Jiří.
Jiří Moser has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers all his professional life. He has been with the company since 1994 when he joined Coopers & Lybrand in Prague. Also due to his secondment in PwC UK London’s office, he focused more on consultancy in the fields of risk management and performance improvement. Jiří made partner in 2001 and become a leader of the Performance improvement group in Prague focusing on process, organisational and financial improvement for companies in all industry segments. At the same time, Jiří has also become responsible for the development of telecommunications solutions across the CEE region. In 2002, Jiří become a leader of the Performance Improvement business unit in CEE and, in 2006, he became the Advisory leader in the Czech Republic.
Jiří has a Ph.D. university degree in scientific computations from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Great Britain (ACCA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Jiří is married with three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and sports. He has been interested in Asian cultures and martial arts since his youth.
