TACOMA extends its services

Since the beginning of April, advisory company TACOMA has extended its portfolio to offer its clients the services of a Management Consulting department led by Jan Voříšek, who had previously headed up the audit department.

TACOMA has established the Management Consulting department in order to integrate their variety of services and ensure their ability to meet their clients' every need. In transactions, TACOMA represents both buyers and sellers, and management consulting services are what the company’s clients are interested in – before a transaction, and even more so when an acquisition is accomplished. These services include assistance with the initial setting up of a client’s management and control processes, resulting in greater efficiency. Other requirements include general economic consultancy, optimisation of cost structure and assistance in controlling set-up. It may be appealing to new owners of a company to ‘borrow’ managerial capacity for a limited period of time.

Jan Voříšek, Senior Manager of the department says: "Our offer is not, of course, limited only to those customers who have been through an acquisition process with us. A popular service now is the so-called business review; required by clients who have come to a dead end in their negotiations with their financing bank.“ A business review provides an independent perspective to help a company pinpoint their future stronger and weaker areas, and recommends any restructuring steps that may be necessary to ensure a healthy, ongoing relationship with their bank.
“I also see other potential in restructuring; both post-acquisition and the less popular kind – connected with saving a company, or even insolvency,“ adds Mr. Voříšek.
