Energy & Utilities sector activities of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Czech Republic will be led by partner Tomáš Bašta. He will also be taking care of clients in the telecommunication and information technology sector. In this new position he will make use of a 17years long career that he has had at PricewaterhouseCoopers benefiting the network industries clients in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Tomáš has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1993. From 1999 to 2001, he was on a secondment at PricewaterhouseCoopers consultancy headquarters for IFRS in London. From 2007 to 2009, Tomáš worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Ukraine, where, in 2008, he became a Partner. In July last year, Tomáš returned to the Czech Republic.

Tomáš graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague and gained his professional qualifications with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 1998. In 2003, he became a Fellow of the ACCA in Great Britain and qualified as a Czech statutory auditor with the Czech Chamber of Auditors. He is fond of his family, travelling, and theatre.
