WHITE & CASE WINS CEE LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR

4.06.2010
Company: White Star Real Estate s.r.o.

Global law firm White & Case LLP was named Central and Eastern Europe Law Firm of the Year 2010 at the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence.

The awards honor outstanding law firms, reflecting both pre-eminence and notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

White & Case was shortlisted along with five other leading international firms.

Chambers Europe commented, “White & Case can lay claim to possibly the most consistent spread of offices and quality advice across CEE. The firm achieves Band 1 rankings across the board and is a prominent and regular presence on some of the region’s largest transactions. It serves a number of the leading international banks active in the region, including Citi, KBC, Erste Bank, CIB Bank and UniCredit. In one major Hungarian case, the lawyers advised STRABAG, Colas and Intertoll on their consortium bid for the concession to develop, build and operate the M3 motorway between Nyiregyhaza and Vasarosnameny.”

“This award is in recognition of the high quality of legal advice we consistently provide to our clients and of the great teamwork and collaboration by all our offices across CEE and the global network,” said Jan Matejcek, regional section head for Central and Eastern Europe.
