Flexible Labour Law 2010: second roundtable is coming

The second roundtable of the initiative Flexible Labour Law 2010 will be held on 30 September.
The second roundtable of the initiative Flexible Labour Law 2010 will be held on 30 September at the PwC Community Centre. We expect representatives from more than 20 companies and organisations. The discussion will, except for continuing the agenda, focus on actual proposals of MPSV.
The first roundtable of the initiative Flexible Labour Law 2010" took place on 9 June at the PwC Community Centre. Representatives from 15 companies, chambers and other organisations engaged in fruitful discussion. The speaker for A&D Klára Valentová. This initiative, supported by among others the Czech-German Chamber of Commerce (associating 3500 companies in the Czech Republic) gained wide media coverage and has also brought us new sympathisers from the corporate sector as well as law firms.
The aim of this activity initiated by Ambruz & Dark in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers is to start a discussion on adopting a legislative act enabling greater flexibility of labour, which is common in other developed countries. In conjunction with other signatories who are joining in the appeal, a non-political platform should come into existence that is ready to be an expert partner with the state to streamline Czech labour law. We are planning a second round table for September.
