Four Seasons Hotel Prague is pleased to announce the recent appointment of René Beauchamp to General Manager.
Beauchamp is not new to Golden City; he was managing the Prague property for six years before he moved to Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche.
“I’m thrilled to be living again in one of Europe’s most beautiful and historical cities,” he said. “With views of the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle from my office at the Hotel, it’s hard to imagine being anywhere else.”
Beyond Provence and Prague, Beauchamp’s career with Four Seasons has taken him to New York, Chicago, Toronto and the former Four Seasons Hotel Montreal. Beauchamp spent the majority of his career in his native Montreal, Canada after graduating from Institut de Tourisme et d’Hotellerie du Quebec. He also worked for hotel companies such as Loews and Westin International.
With a deep appreciation of contemporary art, music and theatre, Beauchamp, his wife Louise and daughter Emma take full advantage of Prague’s thriving art scene.
Beauchamp commented: “Returning to the Golden City feels like coming back home. The city is just a fairytale with so much to offer. Rich history, unique architecture, culture and art, growing food scene – my family and I are so pleased to be part of it once again.”
Beauchamp has also a passion for cooking and is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs of Prague, an international gastronomic society dedicated to promoting fine dining. He speaks English, French and Italian.
