Weil Named IFLR Czech Law Firm of the Year

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that it was selected as Czech Law Firm of the Year 2011 by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) at the organization’s European awards dinner at the Dorchester Hotel in London on March 23, 2011.
IFLR, part of the Euromoney Legal Media Group, provides analysis and information on financial market developments, including international deals, legislation, and practice issues and strategies, to top investment banks, in-house counsel, and law firms. Weil received the award primarily for its legal advise to ČEZ, a.s., the Czech power engineering company, in connection with its EUR 6 Billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) program and related tender and exchange offer.
