CMS Cameron McKenna, one of the leading international law firms in the Czech Republic, is pleased to announce that with effect from 1 May 2011, Tomáš Matějovský (37) has been promoted to the position of partner in the firm’s Prague office. Prague office thus comprises 10 local and international partners and over 20 lawyers.
Tomáš has been with the firm for over 3 years as a member of the Commercial team and, has been leading the local Commercial, Regulatory & Disputes department since September 2009. Prior to joining CMS Cameron McKenna, Tomáš worked for a Czech law firm and before that for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tomáš is a dispute resolution specialist, who has extensive experience in domestic litigation and international arbitrations. He works for international clients and leads teams of lawyers in disputes, transactions as well as day to day business matters. He has represented clients in various types of litigation and proceedings at all levels, such as commercial, unfair competition and damage claim disputes on regional courts, Superior Courts, the Supreme Court, and the Constitutional Court. He has also handled administrative proceedings and disputes before the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights. Tomáš speaks Czech, English and French.
