Hilton Hotels in Prague Start Serving Draught Pilsner Lager Beer

Doug Brodman, Pilsner Urquell CEO and Michael Specking, General Manager of Hilton Prague and Hilton Prague Old Town have festively signed a contract of partnership. Both prestigious hotels will offer their guests draught lager Pilsner Urquell.

“Pilsner Urquell is the first-class brand which is known and famous, not only in the Czech Republic, thanks to the top quality. At Hilton Prague Old Town, guests have been offered draught Pilsner Urquell since 2007. Now we are going to fulfill the demand for draught Pilsner Lager also at Hilton Prague where the bottled Pilsner beer have been offered so far,” said Michael Specking while signing the contract.   

“400 hectoliters of Pilsner Urquell are annually drunk at exclusive Hilton Hotels in Prague. However, we are proud that our beer reaches interesting, influential or famous people from various countries,” added Doug Brodman.   

On this occassion, a festive dinner was organized in CzecHouse Grill & Rotisserie of the Hilton Prague. Four-course menu based on beer was created by the CzecHouse Chef de Cuisine Miroslav Hanzal, beer pairing was presented by the Pilsner Urquell brewmaster Václav Berka. Guests enjoyed such treats as roasted pork ribs marinated with forest honey, malting barley Birell beer and chili or beef goulash Master simmered in dark premium beer.

Hilton Worldwide operates two properties in Prague, Hilton Prague with 791 rooms and Hilton Prague Old Town with 303 rooms. Both hotels take pride in first-class restaurants.
