Kinstellar advises CPI on the purchase of an automotive-industrial zone in Slovakia

Prague, 12 August 2011 – Kinstellar, one of the largest international law firms in the Czech Re-public, has successfully advised property developer CPI Group on its purchase of the Lozorno industrial zone near Bratislava. The Lozorno zone is one of the largest automotive parks in Central Europe, and the acquisition reinforces CPI Group’s position in the automotive supply sector. The transaction is valued at approximately SKK 1.8 billion, making it the largest real estate investment in Slovakia since 2007.
The original owner of the automotive-industrial zone in Lozorno (north of Bratislava) was the German company AIRE, a member of the AMG Group (AIG Group). Property developer AIG/Lincoln designed the Lozorno zone specifically for the supply and assembly contractors to Volkswagen. Lozorno is the largest automotive-industrial zone in Central Europe, with five industrial halls and combined leasable area of 118,000 sqm.
