Yesterday Hilton Prague Old Town, in co-operation with the Office of Commercial Affairs from the Royal Thai Embassy, opened the Thai Culinary Festival. The festival was inaugurated in the Dvorak Ballroom by Her Excellency Krisana Chandraprabha, Ambassador of Thailand in the Czech Republic, accompanied by Luca Crocco, general manager of Hilton Prague Old Town. The festival was launched together with a Thai cuisine experience and traditional cultural performances.
The Thai Culinary Festival buffet takes place in the Zinc Restaurant of the Hilton Prague Old Town every evening until September 30. Authentic Thai cuisine is prepared by guest chef Daruwan Phiwkliang from Thailand, who is visiting Prague especially for this occasion. Whilst savouring the delicious variety of Thai dishes, guests can also enjoy Thai dance performances every evening.

The Thai buffet is open to the public every day from 6pm to 11pm from September 21-30, 2011. For 950 Czk guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet, including traditional starters, main courses, side dishes and desserts, and a Thai beer or soft drink. The exhibition is open September 21- 22, 2011 and entry is free of charge.
An exceptional Thai Sunday Brunch will take place on September 25, 2011 from 12.30pm to 3.00pm as part of the festival. Guests can look forward to endless dishes of Thai specialties and live music. There will be a supervised childrens’ corner with Nintendo Wii and play area. The Thai Sunday Brunch is 990 Czk per person including the all-you-can-eat buffet, local wine, beer and soft drinks. Children under 10 years of age enter for free, 10-12 years enter with a 50% discount.
