Jones Lang LaSalle broadens its activities to include the leasing of doctors’ surgeries

Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) has accepted the offer to cooperate with Medifin, a company that is to build the first medical practice in Prague since the revolution in 1989. The project is named Centrum Zdraví Smíchov (Health Centre Smichov) and will expand the existing medical practice Poliklinika Kartouzská to include new specialized health services.

With this step Jones Lang LaSalle is broadening its leasing activities in the sector of non-residential premises to include a new segment-“Premises for Health Services- Doctors’ Surgeries.” As early as autumn 2009 Centrum Zdraví Smíchov will create new opportunities for doctors, providing them with the possibility to situate their workplace in a new building that offers a total of 2 700m² of space.

“We had much to learn and we are still in the process of , as such premises for specialized services are entirely different from office space. We see the health centre as a challenge and, at the same time, an opportunity for our professional, as well as strategic growth. Together with our colleagues from Medifin, we are devoting our personal experience and knowledge to the project.
