Pedersen & Partners expands to Spain and Colombia

Pedersen & Partners, a leading international Executive Search firm, has today announced the opening of its offices in Madrid, Spain and Bogota, Colombia, thus strengthening its international footprint and growing the team by six new consultants.

Alvaro Arias joins Pedersen & Partners as Partner in charge of Spain and Latin America. He has over twelve years of Executive Search experience, having held management positions at international Executive Search firms and specialised primarily in banking, private equity, telecom, media, professional services and industry. Before entering the Executive Search industry, Mr Arias worked at AT Kearney. He is an Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a MBA from IESE Business School.

Alberto Bocchieri is a Partner at Pedersen & Partners in Spain. He has 4 years of Executive Search experience and his areas of expertise include corporate and investment banking, private equity, energy (oil & gas, large utilities, renewable and conventional power), luxury and professional services, with an focus on top executive positions and cross-border assignments. His career includes various senior level positions in the chemical industry, banking sector and communications. Mr Bocchieri is a Graduate in Economy and Business from LUISS University of Rome and holds a PADE - Top Executive Management Program from IESE Business School of Madrid.

Carlos Recarte O’Ryan joins Pedersen & Partners’ Madrid office as Principal. He has a decade of experience in the Executive Search industry in Spain and in Latin America, specifically in Argentina and Brazil. In the course of his career. Mr Recarte has headed the Consultancy Division of a Human Capital Services firm, was the Operations Manager and Business Development Manager at an Executive Search firm, and a Senior Consultant and Manager of a Marketing and Training firm. Mr Recarte has a degree in law from the San Pablo CEU Madrid University.

Elisa Martinez de Miguel is a Principal at Pedersen & Partners’ Madrid office. She has 13 years of Executive Search experience and brings expertise in leadership consulting. Before joining the Executive Search industry, Ms Martinez de Miguel worked 6 years for Grupo Taper as a Manager in charge of Human Resources, Accounting and Administration. She graduated in Law, Master in Economics, Legal Consultancy and Taxation, SMP by the Instituto de Empresa, Spain.

Puri Paniagua joins Pedersen & Partners in Spain as a Principal. Ms Paniagua has worked in the Executive Search industry for three years, and has previously worked at Accenture for over 20 years, for most of which she was a Partner. Her focus is on Executive Search, Management Audit, and Coaching in the industry sectors of technology, professional services and consumer goods services. Ms Paniagua holds a Degree in Chemistry and ABMP from Kellogg (Northwestern University).

Fernanda Garcia is Country Manager for Colombia at Pedersen & Partners. Before joining the firm, Ms. Garcia was a Country Manager for Columbia at another international Executive Search firm. Before moving to the Executive Search industry, Ms. Garcia gained experience as a Change Management consultant at Ernst & Young, where she developed the practice for Colombia, Perú and Costa Rica. She is an Industrial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and holds a MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Spain.
