Dine at the Prague Marriott Hotel and Help Us Tackle Youth Unemployment
Throughout the month of February, the Prague Marriott Hotel will donate €1
for every lunch and dinner served at the Marriott restaurants to SOS Children’s Villages, as part of
Marriott International’s European ‘You Eat, We Give’ program to raise funds to help tackle youth unemployment. This promotion is part of Marriott’s Europe-wide “World of Opportunity” initiative,
which will help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their full potential by providing
life skills and vocational opportunities.
“The ‘You Eat, We Give’ promotion is a way for Marriott to show our commitment to helping young
people prepare for meaningful employment. Giving back to our community is at the heart of the
Marriott culture and the way we do business. We are excited to welcome guests into our hotel for a
great meal and show our support to the young people in our community,” said Rick Enders, General
Manager, Prague Marriott Hotel.”
Program ‘You Eat, We Give’ is supported by all Marriott hotels in the Czech Republic – hotels
Prague Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Flora, Courtyard by Marriott Airport and
Courtyard by Marriott Pilsen.
Through “World of Opportunity” more than 280 Marriott International branded hotels across Europe
will fundraise, facilitate in-kind donations and volunteer with two charitable partners, SOS Children’s
Villages in Continental Europe and The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge programme in the United Kingdom.
Marriott's commitment to society blends corporate financial contributions with in-kind giving and the
volunteer service of our associates around the world. The company participates in efforts to provide
shelter, food, and children's health, while creating career opportunities for associates in the workplace
and supporting education in the hospitality industry. In 2010, Marriott’s worldwide charitable
contributions totaled $34.6 million from donations of cash, in-kind and volunteer time. For more
