A 40,000 m2 landmark deal brings global leader in electron microscopy equipment, and the cutting edge of nanotechnology, to CTPark Brno - Phase II.
CTP has signed a landmark deal with US-based FEI Company to design and construct a state-of-the-art CTFit custom-built facility at award-winning CTPark Brno - Phase II.FEI is the world leader in the production and distribution of electron microscopes used at the cutting edge of nanotechnology research. The company designs and produces precision electron microscopes capable of producing high-def nition imagery of objects smaller than 100 nanometres. The company’s global customer base includes government agencies, important producers of the PC chips and processors, leading researchers, scientists and engineers worldwide.CTP will design and construct over 40,000 m² of mixed-use facilities, including over 20,000 m² of high-tech production space, lab space and clean rooms, and over 10,000 m² of off ce space. The rental agreement has been signed for 20 years, with various extension options. The project is currently in the preparatory design stage and construction will start during July of this year. Completion is planned for mid of year 2013.CTPark Brno - Phase I & II is the leading high-tech business park in the Czech Republic. CTP has been developing the site since 2005 and to date has invested over € 200 mil. in the project, which covers a combined area of over 80 hectares. Several leading global high-tech companies call CTPark Brno home, including Honeywell, Acer, TE Connectivity and ModusLink. To date, CTPark Brno - Phase I & II have created over 5,000 new jobs, a high percentage of which are highly skilled technical workers with university degree education.
