Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), real estate advisors, is pleased to announce that Carpathian Plc. has completed a disposal of Varyáda, a well-performing 18,500 sq m shopping centre anchored by Interspar, Marks & Spencer, Hervis Sport, MAG, New Yorker and Deichmann among others. The property was sold indirectly through a real estate company for the total consideration of €49.6 million to Invesco’s fund, Invesco Beteiligungsverwaltungs Gmbh&Co KG. Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets acted as advisors to the seller.
Developed by TK Development and completed in 2005, Varyáda represents an established shopping centre offering 18,429 sq m of rentable area divided into 70 units and providing over 1,250 parking spaces. The centre is located in the town of Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia, a well-known spa resort, particularly popular among Russians and Germans, with approximately 53,000 inhabitants.
