This month, amidst the articles about the implementation of a new children’s program at Nelahozeves Castle and the beginning of preparations for the 4th annual Wine Harvest Festival at Roudnice Castle, we are particularly pleased to announce the successful completion of The Collections foundation’s first-ever fundraising event.
The eighteen calendar months beginning on 1 January 2011 have seen many milestones met by The Collections. The fundraiser, in addition to garnering crucial support for Lobkowicz Collections, o.p.s., provided a moment to reflect on these achievements, and you will read more about them in this newsletter.
The foundation’s mission of making the remarkable art holdings entrusted to its care available and accessible to the public is one that in order to be properly fulfilled demands a steadfast commitment to continual improvement and innovation in our work and the visitor experience. It is to this two-fold goal that the Lobkowicz organization is dedicated, and we thank you for being a part of the journey.
