PRAGUE – The Citigold Lounge of Citibank Europe plc, which can be found in the departure hall of Prague-Ruzyně airport’s Terminal 2, has registered as many as 15,800 visits of the Citigold program’s clients since it was opened in 2010. It is the very first airport lounge of this type at Prague Airport, and offers clients and their accompanying persons comfort while they wait for their flight. The lounge is also open, for a fee, to other passengers who are not Citibank clients, and the total number of visits to the Citigold Lounge is therefore even higher. This service has recently become increasingly popular among Czechs, which is confirmed by the other lounges that are being opened at Prague Airport by other companies following Citibank’s example.
“Our surveys suggest that the Citigold Lounge at the airport is regarded as the best non-banking benefit that we offer Citi clients. They mainly appreciate the privacy they can enjoy in the Citigold Lounge on their international trips,” says Andrea Klímová, marketing manager at Citibank, adding: “What is also important for them is free car parking at the airport and individual security checks, through which they go completely separate from the other passengers at the airport; which customers find much more convenient.”
The services of the Citigold Lounge, which is open for all Citigold scheme clients and their accompanying persons free of charge, also include check-in of cabin baggage directly at the lounge, all-inclusive refreshments, TV, Wi-Fi, and daily press. “Other passengers who are not Citibank clients can also use the Citigold Lounge for a fee. Statistics of visits suggest that these passengers are also highly interested in using the Citigold Lounge,” adds Andrea Klímová.
