Citibank and Broker Consulting Launch a New Credit Card

PRAGUE – Citibank Europe plc in the Czech Republic is pleased to announce that we have launched a cobranded contactless credit card, Citi Broker Consulting. The new credit card will offer its owners a number of benefits and discounts at more than 300 Citi Club program partners throughout the Czech Republic. In addition, clients will earn a 2% bonus on every purchase in the form of Citi Life Premiums, which can then be redeemed for a variety of things, including the products and services provided by the financial and non-financial institutions that are partners of Broker Consulting.

“Citibank continues to pursue its strategy of offering its clients products to make their lives easier and their everyday activities such as shopping and paying for various services around the globe just a bit more fun,” says Kateřina Turnová, Product Manager at Citibank.

Clients can redeem the Citi Life Premiums earned for purchases paid using the Citi Broker Consulting credit card for cash back, use them to pay the credit card annual maintenance fee, or redeem them for vouchers accepted at the Metropole Zličín department store or for Czech Airlines’ OK Plus miles. Further, they can use their Citi Life Premium points to use and pay for Broker Consulting’s services, or for products they buy from the financial and non-financial institutions that partner with Broker Consulting.

“Our clients can receive a wide range of benefits thanks to the Citi Broker Consulting credit card. For example, they can save more money on their private pension contributions. Further, the holders of the Citi Broker Consulting credit card can get discounts of up to 25% at Citi Club program partners throughout the Czech Republic,” said Jan Lener, communications manager at Broker Consulting.

Clients receive MasterCard international embossed credit cards with built-in contactless technology. The CZK 50 monthly fee is refunded to Citi Broker Consulting credit card holders in the first year if the credit card is used actively. Every holder of this credit card can also obtain up to four additional cards free of charge.
