Finance committee chairman elected

Personal information:

Tomas joined Process Solutions Group in 2008 to open the Prague office. The firm has been serving mainly the local subsidiaries of multinationals and has grown to 25 of staff and one of the leading local accounting BPOs. Tomas’ background is in the tax consulting. He started in the BIG6 in PriceWaterhouse and Arthur Andersen, later moving to the industry to Eurotel and RWE.

Vision for running and development of AmCham Finance Committee:

As the Chairman of Finance Committee of AmCham, my goal would be to extend the offer of relevant seminars and workshops benefiting member firms as well as the main objectives of AmCham.

I plan to initiate involvement of a wider range of finance professionals from service providers as well as industry to deliver interesting content as well as to provide input and momentum to AmCham advocacy initiatives as for example the areas of new economic opportunity that we want our government and the business community to focus on.

I will be focusing on cooperating with other non-profit, non-governmental bodies for organizing events and inviting speakers with global view and from other CEE countries. In order to use the growing potential of Brno, I will advocate that some events take place there, as it is a fast developing hub for companies in R&D and Global Business Services.

My strategy will be to facilitate the discussion on the regular committee meetings in such a way to encourage active involvement of members to brainstorm as well as to monitor certain information sources in order to come up with areas of potential interest.

I will utilize my skills, to ensure that wide range of finance professionals from service providers as well as industry deliver interesting content. I will try to utilize AmCham's member network as well as my own professional network to approach and activate potential speakers.
