Korean Air representatives purchased stake in ČSA

On 10th April 2013, a gala evening event was held at the Václav Havel Airport Prague Terminal 2 departure hall to celebrate contract signature for the purchase of a 44% stake of Czech Airlines by Korean Air.
The contract, which successfully terminated the search for a Czech Airlines strategic partner, was signed at the Czech Government Office earlier that day.
The gala evening at the airport was attended by the Czech state officials, including Mr. Miloš Zeman, the President of the Czech Republic, members of the Czech Government and nearly 250 distinguished guests from Czech political, business and social circles.
The Korean delegation was headed by Mr. Yang Ho Cho, the Korean Air Chairman and CEO and Mr. Chang Hoon Chi, the President of Korean Air.
The cultural program of the evening included a concert by Czech Philharmonic, an internationally-renowned symphonic orchestra that performed the works of Czech composers Antonín Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana.
