Weil, Gotshal & Manges Obtains Most Prestigious European Award

The so-called legal Oscars were just held in London. The preeminent European awards given to law firms were awarded there – the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence, and the Czech office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges took home one of them. It won in the category of Czech Republic Law Firm of the Year - International.
The awards are given on the basis of the results of independent interviews conducted by Chambers & Partners with both clients and law firms.
“In the legal profession, receiving the Chambers award represents an achievement similar to that of receiving an Oscar in the film industry. The Prague office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges had previously obtained the Chambers Europe Award for Excellence in 2008 and in 2009, being the only law office in the Czech Republic to win this competition three times.
