Citrix announced that it has appointed a Director System Engineering for Eastern Europe: Ralph Schmidt. He is responsible for the management of the Pre-Sales and Solutions activities of Citrix in Eastern and Southeast Europe. Ralph Schmidt reports to Guenther Brand, Area Vice President Russia, CIS, Eastern and Southeast Europe at Citrix.

Ralph Schmidt has more than 25 years experience in the ICT industry. He is joining Citrix from Huawei where he was Director UC&C in the Western European Enterprise Organization. Prior to that he spent 14 years with Cisco in various leading positions – his last role at Cisco was to lead the business transformation & optimization in the Emerging Markets. Ralph has worked internationally for almost fifteen years, including stations in the Middle East and the UK, and has a strong leadership experience in multicultural environments.
